Medics Society

Thank you to Old Olavian, Samson Woodley, who is in his Fifth Year of studying Medicine at Barts in London, for hosting an online Teams Meeting, organised by our current Med Soc President, Anupam Bandi.

Places were limited as the session was designed to replicate a medical student’s PBL teaching session, where each attendee is expected to participate actively in the Q&A. The session itself involved a patient case study, and students were asked to use their knowledge to build a mind map picture of relevant information.

The quality of contribution, and confidence with which our Year 12 students engaged with the task was extremely impressive. At the end of the session, each student was given a research task, which they will present to the group at a later date.
